With over 20 years in mechanical design, Fertile Mined leads development from concept through prototyping and production — plastic injection molded parts, sheet metal enclosures, metal stampings, precision CNC and more.

Fertile Mined provides mechanical engineering for a broad range of markets — consumer and medical products, precision robotics and manufacturing assembly equipment. We look beyond the prosaic to find the differentiating solution in an otherwise staid product class.

On one recent program a promising product was bogged down by poor DFM and ergonomics. We reworked it: reduced assembly time, cut product weight by 20%, cut volume by 20%, sped deployment and improved both performance and reliability — then built, populated, assembled and tested working prototypes in-house.

Looking beyond flat sheet metal, we gave a staid product class a solution people actually wanted to touch.
